Allana Ferguson bio

Allana was selected to play for Australia during the Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her on the sidelines. It took a few years to Allana to re-enter the rugby league. Allana was the first woman to make her debut in the league game against Queensland for New South Wales. Allana is also adding radio to her game, performing regularly with the top-rating Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana holds a professional teaching qualifications outside of sport. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos star and qualified teacher outside of sport, has represented Australia at three times, in the sport of touch football, as well as rugby league and also the rugby sevens. Allana Ferguson soccer player for Jillaroos and a league player of Australia's Jillaroos team, was forced to come to an early ending to her career as a player after she tore her ACL on a 4th occasion. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears in the same ligaments when she was 15 17, 17 and 20 and the fourth tear was a sign that her playing days were over.
